We are witnessing a refugee crisis unlike anything we've seen before. UNHCR is on the ground providing life-saving assistance but we need your help.

Imagine not being able to keep your children safe from the cold at night. This is the reality faced by Nawal’s mother Rouhlat as she struggles to survive in a makeshift shelter. “I wake up at night and feel their faces and they are freezing sometimes,” she says.

After six years of war, Syrian refugees are struggling to survive. Many are living well below the poverty line, unable to feed their children properly or continue their educations. Struggling even to keep a roof over their heads through yet another brutal winter.

UNHCR, the UN Refugee agency, is on the ground protecting those most at risk, but we can’t do this alone. We are critically short of funds to respond.
You can help provide shelter, medicine and health care, clean water and food, and vital emergency assistance.

We are witnessing a refugee crisis unlike anything we've seen before. UNHCR is on the ground providing life-saving assistance but we need your help.

Globally, more than 65 million people are living in displacement because of conflict and persecution. Every single day, on every continent, the number of people who are forced to flee their homes is growing at a rapid pace. Never has the need for humanitarian assistance been this great.

The Syrian refugee crisis is the primary driver of the world’s largest humanitarian tragedy since World War II. With the brutal conflict stretching into its sixth year, over 4.8 Syrian refugees – more than half are children – have fled to neighbouring countries. Inside the war-torn country, more than 8.7 Syrians are internally displaced.

Many Syrians are forced to leave their homes with nothing more than the clothes on their back. Humanitarian assistance is their only lifeline for survival.

But with gaps in humanitarian funding still present, your pledge is critical to helping UNHCR continue its work to ensure Syrian refugees survive and live in safety and dignity.
Please donate today to provide a lifeline to families who so desperately need our help.
