Syrian families need your help, today more than ever.
After seven years of destruction and displacement, Syria remains the largest refugee crisis in the world. As fighting in their war-torn country continues, Syrian families are locked into a cycle of violence, displacement, and crushing humanitarian need.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee agency, is on the ground protecting those most at risk, but we can’t do this alone. We are critically short of funds to respond.
You can help provide shelter, medicine and health care, clean water and food, and vital emergency assistance.

We are witnessing a refugee crisis unlike anything we've seen before. UNHCR is on the ground providing life-saving assistance but we need your help.
Globally, more than 65 million people are living in displacement because of conflict and persecution. Every single day, on every continent, the number of people who are forced to flee their homes is growing at a rapid pace. Never has the need for humanitarian assistance been this great.
The Syrian refugee crisis is the primary driver of the world’s largest humanitarian tragedy since World War II. With the brutal conflict stretching into its sixth year, over 4.8 Syrian refugees – more than half are children – have fled to neighbouring countries. Inside the war-torn country, more than 8.7 Syrians are internally displaced.
Many Syrians are forced to leave their homes with nothing more than the clothes on their back. Humanitarian assistance is their only lifeline for survival.
